An 180' long ocean-going tug, the Sheridan was sunk as an artificial reef off Clearwater. She sits upright and intact, though listing approximately 50 degrees to starboard, in 80' of water, home to several resident jewfish. The remains the USCGC Blackthorn can be found by swimming off the bow of the Sheridan.
