The Orange is an 80-foot long steel-hulled harbor tug built in 1903. Her bridge was razed and the hull was prepped for use as an artificial reef off Pinellas County. On April 8, 2003, the Seabulk Towing vessel Canaveral wrapped her lines around the Orange and towed her on her last voyage, a 40-mile waltz from upper Tampa Bay to her final resting place 45 feet deep in the Gulf of Mexico. She now rests with a 50 degree list to port on a sandy bottom. There is a mooring buoy attached to the bow of the wreck, facilitating the wreck's location. She can be found at 27 43.375N and 82 58.450W.
