The M/V Holstein, also known as the "Flour Wreck," was a 255-foot long freighter carrying a cargo of 2,000 tons of corn flour when she foundered in 30-foot seas and came to rest on her starboard side in 200 feet of water in October of 1992. Her final resting place was marked with a continuing stream of flour that leaked up from the wreck for months.
