The remains of this ocean-going tug lie close to shore just south of Sandbridge in about 20' of water. The bow of the wreck points toward shore, with the intact hulk listing slightly to port, filled with sand. Though heavily sanded in, the hulk rises high off the bottom, coming within 7' of the surface in areas. The large pair of towing bitts and rounded stern are obvious during exploration. The superstructure has been razed from the hull and lies flattened off to the side. Due to its proximity to shore, visibility is usually low. Large amounts of fish were seen on this wreck when dove in the summer, including schools of triggerfish, large sheepshead, and tautog.
