The Consols was an English freighter built in 1898.  She was lost due to a fire on February 4, 1912.  The final resting spot of the Consols is thought to be that of a wreck known locally as the "1800 Line Wreck."  This wreck consists of a large vessel largely turtled in approximately 90 feet of water.  The stern is fairly intact and one can enter inside to explore what remains.
