A 370' long freighter, stranded on a shoal near Smith Island,
Virginia, on 5 January 1909. Over the years, the wreck has been
pummeled by the waves, as well as a 1939 wire-dragging that
lowered the wreck to no more than 11' of relief. As with many
other old wrecks north of the Chesapeake Bay mouth, the wreck is
heavily encrusted in white star coral. Infrequently dove, and
with a maximum depth of 30', the site may yield many an artifact
to a wary diver.
